E.P.I.385

JOINTAIR® 385 has been specially conceived for the knotless joining of twisted yarns. The cord is first de-twisted, individual splices made on each ply and the cord finally re-twisted to its original state without alteration of its characteristics or yarn diameter in the spliced area.

JOINTAIR® 385 is particularly suitable for the joining of tyre cord or other industrial and technical yarns where only  the highest degree of joint perfection is acceptable. Maintenance of the unit is minimal and its operation does not require particularly qualified staff.

Joining capacity: two-ply twisted yarns 500-3300 Den.
