JOINTAIR®114

JOINTAIR® 114, first Mesdan portable hand operated splicer endowed with two air blasts, one for tail ends preparation, and one for fibre intermingling. Designed to join long and short staple yarns, single and plied within a count range 3-120 Nm (6-120 Ne). JOINTAIR® 114 is specifically conceived for hand-held use in a limited area where the ATS (Air Track Supply) fitting is virtually impossible. The benefits of using a splicer fitted on ATS over a hand carried splicer are known and quite obvious, just to mention a few: free-hand operation, less maintenance needed, less part damages, efficiency increase, better splicing consistency, etc. Also wearable round the operator’s waist or mounted as a stationary unit or fixed on a moving trolley. Model 114 is not fittable on the ATS system for which the popular model 115 is provided, same features and same capacity range.
