is a wire made of metal which has saw tooth shape, and combs fibers on the process of carding in manufacturing of yarn and non-woven fabric, and is used to remove foreign matters and short fibers from fiber material, and to make uniform a direction of fibers.

In order to secure high hardness, special heat treatment is applied to teeth tips so as to increase intensity, and surface treatment such as plating or special coating is applied for certain uses.
